A Permanent National World War II
Day of Remembrance. Now.
Let’s Get It Done!
America in WWII magazine is joining forces with the nonprofit Keep the Spirit of ’45 Alive to campaign for a permanent national World War II day of remembrance—celebrated every year on the second Sunday of August, near V-J Day.
This special holiday would honor the American men and women who did their part overseas and on the home front to win World War II and then helped rebuild their world for a brighter future.
Join our campaign! E-mail or fax your congressman today. Tell him or her that you join America in WWII magazine and Keep the Spirit of ’45 Alive in supporting a permanent national day of remembrance commemorating Americans’ role in winning World War II. Ask them to actively support House Concurrent Resolution 226!
